We ran the Upwork bidding for a design and AI studio in Cyprus.

Empha Studio builds custom AI agents and intelligent workflows on top of large language models, and pairs that with full-stack UX and UI design and experience strategy. The two sides are the same job for them: the interface a person actually uses decides whether the automation behind it gets used at all.

The studio works with startups, scale-ups and enterprises in fintech, SaaS, healthcare, e-commerce, telecommunications and logistics. It is registered in Limassol, Cyprus, with teams in Kyiv and Lviv, and Tetiana Shevtsova is its director.

The work here was not outreach on LinkedIn. Empha Studio sells through their own Upwork profile, so we put a dedicated bee on that profile to bid for them.

We analyzed the Upwork search filters to work out which jobs were worth the studio’s time, rewrote the profile, wrote the cover letter the bids went out with, and set the qualification and disqualification criteria so the bee knew which jobs to bid on and which to leave alone. The audience was the client base for a product, web and UX/UI designer, and the markets on the list were Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France and Germany.

The engagement ran through September and October 2023.
