We did market research on the startup industry for a client in Toronto, Canada.

The client wanted a picture of the startup industry and asked for it as a research project rather than as a campaign.

Our team built the company list out of several sources, Clutch among them, and cross-checked what each source claimed against the others rather than taking any one list at face value. When a better source turned up part-way through, we extended the research to cover it instead of closing on the original scope. Coverage reached into Dubai as well as North America.
