We built a lead database for the Western Balkans Six Chamber Investment Forum, a regional business organisation with its secretariat in Trieste, Italy.

WB6 CIF is a joint initiative of the chambers of commerce and industry of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia. It was set up in 2017 and speaks for around 350,000 companies, most of them small and medium-sized, across a market of 18 million people. Its own description of itself is the business community’s response to the political processes in the region.

The forum runs a Market Access database, a Market Intelligence database, an e-catalogue of companies from the six economies, and a platform that helps manufacturers find the European directives that apply to their products. It works with the support of the European Commission, the EBRD, EUROCHAMBRES and the Regional Cooperation Council.

Our part was the company research. The first stage asked for company information only, so contact details were left out of it by design. We compiled 1,000 companies.

The work ran from May to December 2021.
